Why join the KC Sizzlers basketball organization?
Coach Calvin Thompson is an established player and coach in the collegiate and professional industry which allows him to display his passion and commitment with the KC Sizzlers semi-pro basketball organization.
One of the major advantages of playing with the KC Sizzlers, is Coach Thompson's personal contacts, not only within the NBA and “G” League, but also in Canada, France, Italy and Spain. Coaches, scouts and GM’s will be invited to observe practices and scrimmages that they can to see and experience our talent level in person.
Supported by years of experience, tradition, and professionalism, Coach Thompson advocates teamwork both on and off the basketball court. He embraces fundamentals, discipline, and hard work. As well, he shares knowledge acquired from his relationships with notable Basketball Hall of Fame coaches Ted Owens, Larry Brown and Hubie Brown.
